Glee

Glee: Props and Nationals (SPOILER ALERT)

Only one more episode until every body's favorite Glee characters are gone. Lea Michele (Rachel), Cory Monteith (Finn), and Chris Colfer (Kurt) are graduating the end of this season on the finale episode titled "Goodbye."

It's Glee's almost finale. There needed to be a great lineup of songs, and in my opinion, there was. In the two hour, two separate episode penultimate episode(s), Glee was packed with great music. Rachel sang "I Won't Give Up" in hopes to be able to audition for Carmen Tibideaux, played by Whoopi Goldberg, for a second NYADA interview. After Tina voices that she wants to be exactly like Rachel, even if it's just for a day, as Rachel, Tina sings "Because You Love Me," which in my opinion, she executed extremely well. After Beiste decided to leave her abusive husband and after Beiste and Puck's heart to heart about not being good enough, they sang Taylor Swift's "Mean." Rachel and Tina sang "Fancedance" after Tina wanted to feel like Rachel during a standing ovation. I felt this sport of the episode was just to incorporate Tina in a little more because she always in the back row. The wow moment for me in this episode was the Troubletones' "The Edge of Glory." I've always loved the song. As Santana said, "Start together, end together," I thought it was the perfect way to start nationals. Carmen Tibideaux did end up showing up for the end of Rachel's "It's All Coming Back to Me Now" and seemed to have liked it, along with me. When Rachel pours her soul out into a song, it make it just that much better. The News Directions ended their nationals performance with "It's All Coming Back to Me Now" and "Paradise by the Dashboard Lights," both of which I found just okay. Vocal Adrenaline sang "Starships," which is still stuck in my head, "Pinball Wizards," and "Tongue Tied." To end the episode, the New Directions arrive back at McKinley High with the high school lining the halls with slushie cups. Filled with confetti, the New Directions sang "We Are the Champions" down the hallways. A happy ending to another Glee episode.

‘Glee’ by the musical numbers: No time for losers
